Nice authentic Tex Mex. Great food, Staff is really nice. Parking is difficult due to the location but otherwise it's a solid spot.

Divey Mexican food joint with best Tex-Mex food around. 2 stars on atmosphere but the goodness starts with crispy chips and fresh, spicy salsa. Food is flavorful and authentic. We enjoyed enchiladas, tacos and tortilla soup. It will be my new go-to spot!

My daughter's exact words... "Best tamale I've ever had in my life!!! I am done talking..." She proceeded to destroy the entree.

Delicious food! I got a Torta and it was soooooo darn good. My mom got the Menudo which she said was to die for! The staff there is very attentive and the service is A1! I would definitely recommend this place for locals and visitors alike! Thank you guys for the experience!

We have tried most of the Mexican food in the area and after reading the reviews, we were excited to try this place. The salsa is very good. The guacamole was fresh, and the server was nice. Other than that, this place was not for us at all. The food tastes the way I imagine hospital Mexican would taste. Everything is bland and watery. The creme sauce on the enchiladas is literally clear it's so watery. The ground beef, the fajita steak, the shredded chicken, all lacking seasoning. Even the fresh tortillas tasted like they needed salt which is just weird. It may suite the palates of the elderly people in the area, but my family has been spoiled and this place didn't cut it.

Awesome authentic food! The staff were super friendly. The rice and frijoles is not your typical rice and frijoles it takes like home. The enchiladas and torta are to die for !!

Authentic Mexican food not texmex. The caldo de pollo was exactly what I was looking for. My stomach was not feeling good and mom suggested I eat that. My waitress was very nice. The prices are very good.

The only good thing about this restaurant was the server. The nachos were soggy with grease, the guac was tasteless, the chicken enchilada was just shredded, plain chicken breast, laid on top of a folded, greasy corn tortilla. We won't be back.

Growing up in south Texas, in a border town, this is the closest thing around this area that I’ve found to real authentic delicious Mexican food. Glad we found this place truly, give it a try, food is so good! 😋

Authentic and prepared fresh. Professional and friendly staff. Portion sizes are just right for the affordable price. I definitely suggest over Tex-Mex chain restaurants.

I eat in this restaurant many times a year! This is my favorite spot to grab a bite. I visit this place routinely. The food is just great, the staff is helpful and the cost is fair. I enjoy eating in this restaurant over a decent dinner.

The food's pretty average. Honestly gave 4 stars. I changed it to 5 stars after I saw how well the management responds to negative reviews. They don't try to argue with the customer or any of that. They just pretty much apologize and say they will improve. A very prifessional way to handle these reviews.

Juarez is good. It’s not amazing, but it’s good enough to keep us coming back. Have been customers for years. It’s a good place to get a good, quick, and cheap meal in a fix. Service is quick, which works for us in a pinch. we don’t have a favorite dish, as it’s all pretty decent. Nothing really stands out though.

The staff was very friendly. That's literally the only positive thing that can be said. VERY dirty. Nasty restrooms. All the food seemed to be pre-made packaged junk. Obvious bagged chips, queso was canned nacho cheese, meat in burritos tasted like the beef out of a can of Del Monte stew. Wife's taco salad was a couple tomato slices, shredded lettuce, some shredded cheese and ground beef with two tortilla chips stuck in it. Canned sodas. Skip this place and head to Taco Bell.

I moved here from San Antonio and have been looking for a TexMex restaurant that serves cheese enchiladas with a chili gravy, just like home. I had been unsuccessful until I visited El Juarez. I have since visited 2 more times with family members and the agree. Their food is delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely visit again, as it is my new, favorite spot!

I don't know if there's more El Juarez out there, but the one in McKinney was not good. The place also has a moldy smell to it. I should have gone with my gut when I walked in. My beans were microwaved or whatever they do way to much.

Not good. Good service but there was a ladie nail filing while I was eating . After I got done eating my stomach started hearting after eating supreme nachos . And the nachos did not look like the picture . Do not go their .

Great family atmosphere. Servers are always bringing fresh drinks and the food is always hot and fresh. The servers are nice and its a very relaxed atmosphere. They are also very careful when someone has a food allergy which I really appreciate.

It's authentic Mexican food. I was amazed at the prices, they are extremely reasonable. The servings are large and I was able to make another meal out of the leftovers. The salsas nice and spicy. The drinks are large. This has a little bit of a dive look that is a hidden treasure. The tamales are worth trying. They make them fresh there. There's live music. I'm not sure of the nights but for sure on Fridays.

I had chemo today and I couldn’t cook for my family because I’m too weak.... offering services like that insure that we can still eat healthy. Food is fair, prices are ok, staff is nice unless you go on a monday then the young people spend more time on their phones than serving the customers looks like drinks are great. We go their to have lunch and about half the people there for lunch are having chips and dip and DRINKS..😉

Stumbled on this restaurant about a month ago and was very pleasantly surprised! Excellent food and wonderful service. Great prices and the margaritas were the best!

Very surprised how this place had a high rating... There was only one table with customers when we came and we quickly found out why. The place was lacking basic maintenance and service. Food was matching the ceiling. In the picture is the "huevos rancheros" and next to it is the salad that was included with the plate, but forgotten to be brought to the table. To be honest, I would not mind if it was missed all together. Chopped letuce and a slice of tomato IS NOT consider to be a salad. The waiter did not even apologize for forgetting it and not even once asked us how everything was (maybe due to embarrasment). Worst experience in McKinney so far.

Very nice place. They had live music on the Friday night that we went. The food and drinks were every good and at a reasonable price. Only negative was our waitress could have been more personable, but her service was good. Recommend. Update. This time, service was great, food was even better. Wish they would remodel. Place is rather run down, bathrooms need it as well. Definitely recommend

It's my favorite place to go to in McKinney for Mexican food. It's never overly crowded and the food is authentic and always delicious.
